There’s something about traditions that make my heart so happy..
We kicked off our Christmas with our yearly tradition of cutting a tree down the day after thanksgiving and spending the day throughout our home decking the halls- this year was more special for obvious reasons!!
So when I launched my new design for the blog earlier this year, I had planned to do a load of old posts I had saved that had to do with all things newborn. But in great Kaylee fashion, I can’t find the folders- BUT some of them are SO good, I am going to redo it all because it’s so worth it and every new mama needs these things! So first off- our obsession for lovedbaby.
We kicked off our Christmas with our yearly tradition of visiting the tree farm after thanksgiving and searching for the perfect tree. Things were a little different this year- a quick feeding in the car, timing it out between naps, and skipping the hot cocoa because the midwest decided to bless us with a 70 degree day right before December.
Chesters first Halloween definitely didn’t disappoint. We spent the day putting finishing touches on costumes and eating all the best treats. Chase came home early from work so we could get some pictures before heading out for a fun night with friends.
I can’t believe how close we are to meeting our little guy. We are 38.5 weeks & my body is definitely telling us that we will be a family of four in no time. While we’ve been so busy catching up from the crazy past month, we have finally finished the nursery + packed our bags for the hospital.
